Skip the steep learning curve. Generate optimized 5-axis toolpaths in just three steps, fully controllable via desktop, built-in panel, or phone.

3-Step Machining

AI Model Generation

Visual Toolpath Generation

AI Smart Detection

Start With Words or a Picture — No CAD Required

No modeling software? No problem. Generate machinable 3D models straight from text or a reference image.

✦ Text to Model

Put your idea into words, and get a machine-ready 3D model back. No CAD experience needed.

  1. Enter a prompt like "floral round relief"
  2. Pick your favorite from a few 3D previews
  3. Generate toolpaths in one click and start machining
✦ Image to Model

Upload a photo, sketch, or reference image. InfiStudio CAM reads the contours and depth, rebuilds it as a 3D model, and generates toolpaths ready to cut.

  1. Drop in a reference (photo, sketch, whatever you have)
  2. AI reconstructs the geometry into a machinable 3D model
  3. Generate toolpaths in one click and start machining

Auto-Generated Toolpaths. Minimal Setup.

InfiStudio CAM reads your model geometry and plans the full 5-axis cutting strategy — toolpaths and cutting parameters included. No manual tuning required — minimal manual setup.

  • Optimal 5-axis strategy
  • Adaptive cutting parameters
  • Full Collision Detection
  • Visual Toolpath Preview

Works With Your Existing Workflow

InfiStudio CAM supports STL, STEP, OBJ, 3MF, and more. Compatible with toolpaths from Fusion 360, UG/NX, PowerMill, and FreeCAD.

stl .stl
step .step/.stp
IR .IR(InfiStudio)
obj .obj
3mf .3mf
GLB .GLB

Three Steps. Model to Finished Piece.

A minimal 3-step workflow, simple enough for first-timers.

1

Import or Generate

Upload STL / OBJ / STEP, or generate a model from AI text or an image.

2

Auto Toolpath

Get optimized 5-axis toolpaths and cutting parameters, verified by built-in simulation before you cut.

3

Send & Machine

Send to your machine, monitor progress remotely, and let AI alert you if anything needs attention.

See it in metal before it's metal.

Drape your design in true-to-life materials — metal, wood, stone — and know exactly what you're getting before the first chip flies.

More Tools, Built Right In

Model Repair

Auto-detects and fixes holes and bad geometry — problem models become machinable.

Assisted Modeling

AI-assisted modeling and design edits — get models ready to machine faster.

Text Engraving

Type it in, choose intaglio or relief — toolpaths are ready in seconds, no modeling required.

Cutting Simulation

Run a full material-removal simulation before machining to catch collisions and gouges early.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is InfiStudio CAM software really free?

Yes. Any user who has paid the deposit can use InfiStudio CAM software for free.

What file formats does InfiStudio CAM support for import?

InfiStudio CAM supports mainstream 3D file formats, including STL, STEP, STP, and OBJ — covering export formats from most modeling software.

Can I use toolpaths generated by Fusion 360, UG/NX, or PowerMill?

InfiMaker machines use the standard G-code protocol. If you're already familiar with professional CAM software such as Fusion 360, UG/NX, or PowerMill, you can directly import G-code files generated by these tools for machining — no need to use our software exclusively. We also provide the machine's command set specifications and configuration reference, so experienced users can integrate and customize on their own.

Do I need modeling or CAD experience?

No. InfiStudio CAM has a built-in AI generation feature — you can describe the shape you want in text, or upload a reference image, and let AI help generate a 3D model, significantly lowering the barrier to entry. For complex structures, we recommend a quick preview check and orientation adjustment after generation to ensure machinability.

How accurate is the AI-generated model? Can it be modified?

AI-generated models work well for creative projects like ornaments, decorative pieces, and custom items. You can adjust them within the software, or export for finer edits in third-party tools before re-importing. For high-precision industrial parts, we recommend using professional CAD software instead. We're also continuing to develop our AI CAD capabilities to further improve generation accuracy and modeling flexibility over time.

Does it include cutting simulation? Can it prevent collisions?

Yes. InfiStudio CAM has a built-in cutting simulation module that lets you preview the full toolpath and material removal process before machining, and automatically flags potential collision risk areas. Before actual machining, please always verify the tool, fixture, and workpiece setup, and follow proper safety procedures.

I'm new to CNC. Is it hard to learn?

Not at all. InfiStudio CAM is designed for non-professional users, with a guided workflow: import model → AI auto-processing → one-click send to machine. The core process can be completed in just a few minutes. The software includes built-in tips and recommended parameters, so you can get started quickly even with zero CNC experience.

How does remote control work? Do I need to be on the same network?

No, you don't need to be on the same network. Once your device is set up and bound during initial network configuration, you can check machining progress, camera feed, and device status in real time from your phone or computer, anywhere. Key events like job completion or error alerts are pushed instantly, so you always know what's happening without staying by the machine.

What control system does InfiMaker K1 use? Does it use G-code programming?

Yes. Infimaker K1 uses a self-developed CNC control system and fully supports standard G-code programming.
